Davina lives!

After she died, of course.

Following what appeared to be a failed Harvest Festival, Danielle Campbell’s character went away for a few weeks on The Originals Season 1, only to then be resurrected with a very different view of life.

Yes, the ancient witches really do exist. Davina now has “full faith” in these ancestors, as the actress told us on the red carpet of PaleyFest late last month.

Campbell also talked up the upcoming war in New Orleans and said she could cast a spell that set our camera on fire… but she was nice enough to refrain.

At “Prom,” every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; “Prom” portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there’s only one “Prom.” Featuring an emerging ensemble cast and a powerful soundtrack, “Prom” hits theaters April 29, 2011.

Luke Benward, (“How to Eat Fried Worms”, “Dear John”, “Because of Winn Dixie”) and Danielle Campbell, (“The Prom”) are starring in a Texas Drama spanning generations.

Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) August 30, 2011

Luke Benward, (“How to Eat Fried Worms”, “Dear John”, “Because of Winn Dixie”) and Danielle Campbell, (“The Prom”) are starring in a Texas Drama spanning generations.

Along with these talented young stars, “16 South” has cast talented musician and actor, Randy Travis. Filming in Central Texas near San Antonio, the project is being directed by Jeffrey Travis,(no relation), with Jason Carothers as Director of Photography.

Los Angeles-based Director, Jeffrey Travis, says “I’m thrilled to announce I am directing the feature film “16 SOUTH”, written and produced by talented writer, Hope Kelley. Very excited about this modern Western to be shot back in my home state of Texas!”

Hope Kelley, a graduate of the University of Texas in Broadcast Journalism, was happy to have fellow Longhorn graduate, Jeffrey Travis, as director for “16 South”.

The project, with mostly cast and crew from Texas talent, is produced by King Odessey Productions in association with 16 South Films. These two production companies are also working together to promote and grow the Texas film industry, with several other projects already set for future production in the Lone Star state.

The next project in development is titled, “Broken Borders”, a story of government corruption in the criminal, illegal alien world. “Every day, illegal aliens from all over the world enter our country. These aliens have criminal records in their birth countries, and come to the U.S., not to work hard and earning a living, but to commit more crimes such as drug trafficking and murder,” says Co-Executive Producer, Donald Teague.

“Broken Borders” goes into pre-production in Summer 2012.
